About El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil
El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil is a Michigan-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving Mexican culture through traditional dance, music, and education.

For over 25 years, we've led Hispanic cultural programs across the state.
​
Our folklórico dance classes teach authentic Mexican choreography, technique, and performance skills, with students showcasing their talent throughout the Midwest.
​
We also offer vocal and instrumental lessons in Mariachi and classical styles, helping beginner and intermediate students build strong musical foundations.
Our Mission
Education
To provide quality instruction in Mexican folkloric dance and music to our community with emphasis on educating Hispanic youth.

To provide internship opportunities for advance students to prepare for careers in arts education and organization.
Performances

To produce folkloric dance and music concerts to audiences throughout Michigan performed by our members or by touring groups when available.
Support Artistic Development
To support artistic development by offering intensive folkloric dance and music workshops taught by professionals.

To provide ongoing professional development for our instructors or interns through participation in conferences and master classes in the U.S. or Mexico.
